What is Singles Day and when is it in 2026?
Singles Day falls on 11 November every year, so in 2026 it lands on Wednesday, 11.11. It started in China in the 1990s as a playful celebration of being single, inspired by the four ones in the date. Since then, it has grown into one of the biggest shopping days in the world. And for shoppers across Austria, it's the perfect excuse to treat yourself.
Why refurbished tech is a smart Singles Day buy
Refurbished means a device has been professionally checked, cleaned and reconditioned, so it works flawlessly and is hardly distinguishable from new. At refurbed, every product comes with a minimum 12-month warranty, and you save up to 40% compared to buying new. The condition grade (Good, Very Good or Excellent) only describes how a device looks. It never affects how it works.

Treat yourself and the planet
Choosing refurbished over new keeps devices in use for longer and reduces the demand for new resources. It's the more sustainable alternative compared to buying new, without compromising on quality. You're making the world a better place, one device at a time. That's what we mean by Rethink New.
