The powerful Splitboard binding

The Spark Surge is made for big terrain and steep lines and is preferred by riders with an aggressive riding style. Slightly heavier than the Surge Pro, the Surge stands out with a solid baseplate design, the stiffer Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback and slightly wider Pillow Line Straps for more control on more challenging terrain.

Tesla T1 Splitboard Technology The T1 binding system is a developed, proven and tested system by Spark R&D. Thanks to the Snap Ramps and the Touring Brackets you can easily slip the T1 binding into touring mode on the side. You simply slide the binding onto the offset touring bracket and close the snap ramp to secure everything without tools, pins, cables or constant groping.

Highback The Surge comes with Sparks Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback and a hard flex tuned to the Surge for maximum control and fast response. The Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback can be changed from touring mode (-13°) to riding mode in seconds with a small lever. In Riding mode you can adjust the Forward Lean continuously between 0° and 22°. The side cut-outs on the highback are compatible with Sparks Strappy Strap, which gives you even more support on the ascent.

Baseplate A CNC-milled baseplate made of aluminium focuses on stability and durability. The Climbing Wire Whammy Bar is built into the baseplate, saving you extra weight. With the small lateral lever you can easily adjust the climbing aid to 12° or 18° with the stick.

Straps The Pillow Line Straps are manufactured at Spark in the USA. The one-piece 3D Straps are ultra-light and extremely durable. The Surge’s Pillow Line Straps are slightly wider for maximum support. The bomber ratchets are produced by Burton have long proven themselves.

All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
