Your refurbed product

Our refurbished sports equipment is up to 40% cheaper and more sustainable than buying new. It is completely renewed and carefully tested by experts. This is also the advantage over, for example, used skis, bicycles or fitness equipment. In addition, we have sports equipment made from recycled materials in our range. Refurbed products have at least a 12-month warranty and a 30-day trial period.

Rome Muse (2024) - Description

The new Rome snowboard for women for whom the resort is not enough

The Rome Muse is designed for women who want to explore and rip the entire resort and everything beyond. It comes with a reliable core that offers massive pop and response. The Fusion Camber combines the best of both worlds with camber between the bindings and rocker on the nose and tail. Forgiving and yet strong enough to follow every carve. A snowboard for women who know what they want and step on the gas.

Riding style

All-Mountain/Freeride for female riders. A versatile deck for high-speed turns on the piste and in the backcountry. No matter the terrain or snow conditions, this is your resort and backcountry performer.

Shape

The directional twin shape of this board is actually a perfectly symmetrical true twin shape, but with a slightly longer nose. This shape gives you the same riding characteristics both forward and switch, with a little more uplift in powder.

Profile

The Fusion Camber profile combines a classic camber between the bindings with a rocker in the tip and tail. This creates a playful and forgiving riding experience while maintaining the pop and precision of the camber.

Flex

The medium flex ensures precise control and fast responsiveness of the board.

Construction

The Stomp Core is made from 100 % poplar wood, making it the most stable core in the Rome family. The Sinterstrong Base is a high quality sintered base. Fast and yet easy to maintain. HotRods are thin tubes made of carbon, bamboo or fibreglass and are embedded in milled channels in the wooden core of the board. The flex and pop can thus be precisely placed and changed. In the case of the Warden, bamboo HotRods were used to increase stability.

What is refurbed?
refurbed is an online marketplace that serves as a one-stop-shop for sustainable consumption in various categories: electronics, household appliances, sports, and more.
Why should one buy from refurbed?
At refurbed, we offer you a more sustainable alternative to conventional sports goods. All sports goods listed on our platform are either refurbished or newly made from recycled materials. This way, we reduce the dependence on new resources, reduce waste, and lower CO₂ emissions. In addition, for every item sold, we support environmental protection projects. Furthermore, you have a 30-day free trial and a minimum 12-month warranty on every product. This way, you can shop with us without any risk.
What does "refurbished" mean?
These are products that are either used or can no longer be sold as new. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.
How is “refurbished” classified?
We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.
What does "recycled" mean?
In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.
How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?
Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.
What are my warranty conditions?
We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.
Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?
We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
