What happens when freeride legend Jeremy Jones teams up with surf shaper Chris Christenson? Clearly, you get a snowboard that you can surf pow lines with and a fun machine that is second to none. That is exactly what the Mind Expander is. The board with a surf touch is fun in any terrain and gives you a surf feeling that you haven’t experienced yet in snowboarding. This year, the Mind Expander has been completely redesigned and is available in a twin version. Even more freestyle fun with your lines.

Riding style With the Mind Expander you have snowboard meets surf on a new level. The somewhat different, playful all-mountain board is fun in any terrain!

Shape The Directional Twin Shape gives you even more freestyle options while surfing playful mountain lines. Combined with the 3D Base Contour 3.0, the 3D-shaped base with a 7 mm rise in the nose and tail, lift in powder is guaranteed.

Profile Thetip/tail rocker profile was designed by shaper Chris Christenson especially for Jones boards like the Mind Expander. The nose rocker starts directly at the inserts of your front foot, the tail rocker directly at your back foot. Just a little pressure on the back foot and you have float like never before.

Flex The medium flex (6/10) combines response and playfulness.

Construction The heart of the Mind Expander is the Bamboo Surf Core. The bamboo and paulownia core with reinforcing stringers ensures powerful turns and response.Biax fibreglass makes for a fun and forgiving run, while Flax/Basalt stringersprovide pop. Bio resin is plant-based and makes production a little more environmentally friendly. TheECO-plastic topsheet made from environmentally friendly castor seeds is lightweight and durable. The construction is rounded off by the Sintered 8000 Base. The lightweight base is easy and quick to repair thanks to the UHMW-PE. The material for edges and sidewalls is recycled, and Jones also uses Recycled Rounded ABS in the Surf Series, which extends the life of the board. The Mind Expander comes waxed with Wend Wax and ready to shred to your home!
