The Vélosophy® Comfort 5-speed is a rider friendly city commuter made out of recycled aluminium. Designed in Sweden, made in France and for everyday use. The Vélosophy® is equipped with Shimano roller brakes and full-length mudguards for a safe and mud free ride no matter what weather you’re facing.

The double-butted and recycled aluminium frame, integrated 5-speed gear hub and durable leather details gives the bike a smooth roll, easy shifting and great wear and tear-resistance. This is a bike mostly made out of aluminium making it infinitely recyclable – and in tune with our society’s challenges.

The Vélosophy® is also the only bike brand paying it forward through a ONE-FOR-ONE promise – meaning that for every Vélosophy® sold another bike is donated to a schoolgirl in a developing country, helping her commute to school, to get an education. We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

How does the 30-day free trial work?

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
