Riding style

The Magic Stick is the freeride / all-mountain board for women who want it all.  The medium flex and lots of technical finesse ensure lots of fun on the piste and in the pow.

Shape

The directional shape ensures float for trips out into the powder, offers stability and control and guarantees pop. The taper means the nose is wider than the tail and promotes smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed and enhanced deep snow flotation.

Profile

The Directional Hybrid Camber is a camber profile with an additional rocker in the nose. This gives you the precise feel of a camber board, but the nose rocker provides uplift in pow.

Flex

The medium flex fits perfectly with the all-mountain design of the Magic Stick - not too soft and not too hard, the golden mean.

Construction

The WMNS Performance™ Core is designed specifically for Ride’s women’s boards. It is made of sturdy aspen wood with paulownia stringers. Carbon Array 3™ is a technology to better distribute power for more board control. Carbon stringers under the binding zones ensure maximum power transmission to the contact points.  Two linear carbon strips under the core provide more snap and ollie power. Hybrid fibreglass provides balanced torsion and stiffness with triaxial structure above the core and biaxial structure below the core, resulting in better response. Slimewalls® Sidewalls are forgiving and stretchy, absorbing impacts rather than just deflecting them. What’s more, they are virtually indestructible, the most durable sidewalls in snowboarding. Impact Plates are added underneath each binding face to improve compressive strength and prevent the board from breaking.  The sintered base is harder, more resilient and faster than any extruded base, thanks to the 4000 Ptex Base material.
