Big guys need lightweight setups. Their snowboards are always big, wide and long, and a lighter construction makes a huge difference. That’s why Lib Tech uses the super-light Horsepower construction on the Skunk Ape, providing the best balance between stability and weight.
Riding Style
This extra wide board is suited for large riders who want to bring their freestyle riding to the whole mountain.
Shape
The Skunk Ape is a directional twin. It comes with a centred shape but has setback inserts for plenty of float in powder. The serrated Magne-Traction® edges provide more grip, no matter where you are on the mountain, but they are especially effective in icy and hard spots.
Profile
The **C2 profile **features a rocker between the bindings and a camber under the bindings. This combination offers good edge hold because of the camber areas but is still playful and forgiving.
Flex
The **stiff flex **ensures precise control and fast responsiveness of the snowboard.
Construction
The **Horsepower Construction is lighter than the Original Power Construction, environmentally friendlier due to the usage of bio beans and basalt fibre and offers an extremely smooth ride. The Aspen** and Paulownia wood core is robust with a lot of pop. The top sheet is made of Eco-sublimated bio beans. The sintered TNT base is very fast but also requires careful maintenance.

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.
Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.
If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.
We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.
