The refurbed Samsung Galaxy A40 is Samsung’s answer in the lower-mid-range price bracket. Technically, the completely-renewed Samsung Galaxy A40 offers pretty premium features, with its high-resolution AMOLED display, dual camera, 25.0 MP front camera and the super-fast Exynos 7 processor. But the cost-saving examples are there. Take the fingerprint sensor: where others hide it under the display, the Galaxy A40 keeps it classic at the back - and if you look at the response times of the display sensors, this is possibly the better solution. Glass or ceramics have also been left off the casing, making the smartphone incredibly light at 140 grams and still offering enough space for a 3100 mAh battery. Our verdict: If you are looking for a good mid-range phone, you are on the right track here.

Excellent (A-Grading)
The product has no dents, scratches or signs of wear visible from a distance of 30cm - neither on the body nor on the display.
Very Good (B-grading)
These Samsung Galaxy A40 may have minimal dents, scratches or wear on the body that can be seen from 30cm away. There may be micro-scratches on the display/screen, but these are not visible when the display is on.
Good (C-Grading)
These Samsung Galaxy A40 have visible signs of use such as scratches and/or dents on the body. There may be micro-scratches on the display/screen, but these are not visible when the display is switched on.
